Established in 1904 the Atlantic City Firefighters have been serving our community for over 120 years. Our department has grown to include six stations, a fleet of modern fire trucks, and highly trained firefighters.

Our mission is to protect and serve the community by providing rapid response to emergencies and promoting fire safety education. We strive to be leaders in the fire service and maintain the highest standards of professionalism.

Atlantic City Firefighters FMBA Local 8 offer a wide range of services to the community including fire suppression, rescue operations, hazardous materials response, and community outreach programs. Our department also partners with local organizations to provide free smoke detectors to residents in need.
